Interior Resources Group Wins "Team Spirit" at IIDA's Dallas Chili Cook Off

Last Thursday, Interior Resources Group joined 18 other teams in the annual IIDA Dallas City Chapter Chili Cook-off and won "Most Spirited" for the second year in a row.

Every year vendors, design firms, dealers and other industry professionals come together with what they hope is an award-winning chili for one of the 4 categories: Most Spirited, Most Unusual Ingredient, Most Traditional, and Spiciest. Each of these categories are judged by 4-5 judges with various backgrounds including celebrity chef, senior level position at a leading company, restaurant owner and/or representative for a manufacturer or organization.

The final category, Crowd Favorite, is awarded to the team with the most money/tickets earned. Attendees/teams can vote for each other or their own team by donating money or purchasing crowd favorite tickets and placing them in the designated jar. Each ticket represents $1.00 and all proceeds benefit TAID and the IIDA foundation. The team with the most money and/or tickets is awarded Crowd Favorite.

This year's chili cook-off had approximately 150 attendee's and raised almost $1000.00 for TAID in crowd favorite votes alone.

The next chili cook-off will be held this fall and Interior Resources Group hopes to be back with another award-winning chili.
